Assisting clients in personal healing and transformation is Suzanne’s passion and purpose in life. Her trained specialties—Clinical Psychology, Insight Yoga, and meditation—form a powerful triad of healing modalities. With these tools, her clients are able to explore, observe, and create the changes needed to gain a clarity of mind that will assist them to live life with more freedom and ease.

Suzanne has been a holistic practitioner for over 30 years. She currently teaches yoga and meditation at Yoga Soup in downtown Santa Barbara. Suzanne is also a psychotherapist offering counseling sessions in her office off Mission Street. She uses modalities of Buddhist psychology, somatic therapy, as well as internal family systems within the therapeutic setting. Suzanne’s primary interest lies in the capability of the heart, mind, and body to transform through a regular mindful-based practice.

Suzanne believes that in order to mature and evolve as human beings we need the techniques offered through a psychology to examine and dismantle our conditioned beliefs and unhealthy habits. She has observed that as we begin to make more life affirming choices, that it is imperative to develop practices like yoga and meditation to help us remember our true nature.

Residing in Santa Barbara gives Suzanne yet one more modality of healing—the beautiful outdoors. She may be found hiking the local mountains, jogging on the beach, or just enjoying time with her two grown sons, daughter in-law and their dogs, Mala and Sandy.
